A few years ago the only way to view a photograph was to print it. Nowadays printing a photograph is probably the least common, but most pleasing way to display an image. The digital age has transformed photography in ways no one could have imagined. The beauty of photography and the printed image has been a little neglected, replaced by computer screens and Instagram feeds. I think most will agree this is a real shame as the most satisfying thing you can do with a photograph is to print it, frame it and hang it.

Real photographic prints created on light-sensitive paper for a deep rich tonal range that you can only achieve with a genuine professional photo print. C-Type Fuji Crystal Archive paper 246gsm, C-Type Kodak Metallic 242gsm or C-Type Fuji Flex 255gsm; are professional archival prints - all producing a much sharper, higher quality real photographic print that will last over 100 years! (They are meant to be framed and enjoyed forever!)

Giclรฉe printing creates an incredibly rich and detailed fine art print, using specialist printers, archival quality, fade-resistant inks and acid free art and photo papers. The Giclรฉe printing process is environmentally safe since the inks are water-based and the paper is archival and acid-free. Thus, a Giclรฉe must be treated as fine art and placed away from direct sunlight, even though we use long-life archival UV-safe pigmented inks supplied by Canon.
